The first WAECA social gathering was held at Gaire beach in August 2014. Attendence was good and with most of the educated Warakamb boys and girls attending. A BB was held, and sports activities including touch footy, and volley ball was played.
Most people enjoyed and socialized. It was the first time for some people to catch up and tell stories and share issues of common interest. Thanks to Mr Ken for organising his Bus and Pr Kembol for bringing is dyna to bring people back. Over 10 vehicles also were at the gathering.
