Managing director of MRDC, Mr Agustine Mano has agreed to fund a rural Aid Post for the people of the Warakamb Valley at Marara. It will cater for the 10 000 people of the area who lack basic health services.
He has already committed the funds and only awaiting minor paper works. It will be built at a cost of K60,000.00. The request to fund was organised by a pioneer medical doctor of the area who felt sorry for his people while on a Holiday trip to the area in April 2013. We would like to thank Mr. Agustine Mano and MRDC for the project. It is hoped the building will be ready for opening by Christmas or New Year 2014.
